Gary Wright was achild actor and musician primarily known for the songs “Dream Weaver” and “Love is Alive.”
He passed away on September 5th, 2023.
Steve Hartwell (1967-2023)
Steve Hartwell was an American musician known for his work as the lead singer of Smash Mouth. “All Star” was the bands biggest hit and lives rent-free in the minds of millions. Their cover of the Monkees “I’m a Believer” was also extremely popular.
He passed away on September 4th, 2023.
Jimmy Buffett (1946-2023)
Jimmy Buffett was a musician known for hits like “Margaritaville” and “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” He was also an enterprising business mogul, with resorts and restaurants in named after his songs.
He passed away on September 1st, 2023.
Gayle Hunnicutt (1943-2023)
Gayle Hunnicutt was an actress best known for her role as Vanessa Beaumont on “Dallas.” The Legend of Hell House (1973) and The Wild Angels (1966) are two of my personal favorites of her performances.
She passed away on August 31st, 2023.
Franne Lee (1941-2023)
Fran Lee was a costume designer for Saturday Night Live who created the costumes for classic sketches like The Blues Brothers and The Coneheads. She won a Tony Award for the costumes in Candide.
She passed away on August 27th, 2023.
Marcia DeRousse (1953-2023)
Marcia DeRousse was an actress best known for her role in True Blood as Dr. Patricia Ludwig.
She passed away on September 2dn, 2023.
