It’s spooky season already! The temperatures are getting lower here in Vegas and art shows and pet events are on the horizon! Well, there have been a number of craft fairs, but they are relegated to indoor event centers in Vegas because no one wants to be outside in 110 degree weather.
I, of course, love October and Halloween. And in honor of that, I created a list of 31 horror films from the 1980s that can be streamed for free!
Because I’m me and I love this season, I also did a quick list of spooky games to play as well, though they will mostly require a purchase, unlike the movies. But still, they are great fun!

Unity developer group dissolves after company “completely eroded trust” (Game Developer)
The Boston Unity Group (BUG) is saying goodbye to the Unity engine after their “unthinkably hostile terms of service and pricing changes.” They will focus on the larger, and more general Boston game development community.

David McCallum (1933-2023)
David McCallum was a Scottish actor and musician. He was known for his roles in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Colditz, Saphphire & Steel, and as Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard on NCIS.
He passed away on September 25th, 2023.
Michael Gambon (1940-2023)
Sir Michael Gambon was a British actor best-known for playing Professor Dumbledore in six of the Harry Potter films. He was one of the original members of the Royal National Theatre, starting his acting career with Laurence Olivier. He has received three Olivier awards, two Screen Actors Guild awards, and four BAFTA awards.
He passed away on September 28th, 2023.
