Rip Twitter/X
Well, Twitter/X made a frustrating change today. To be able to VIEW any content on their site, you have to be logged in. Which pretty much kills sharing tweets and such. This combined with their removal of external links to keep all traffic on-site and moving TweetDeck behind their paid tier pretty much makes it useless for my purposes. If they change the behavior in the future and allow viewing once again, I’ll think about posting to it once again, though their normal post schedulling interface is a horrid mess–which is why they moved it behind a paid tier as an incentive to pay money. It’s not like they’ll lose much from me stopping using their service anyway, and I certainly did not gain anything from their service as it is.
