I have been in the process of moving content to Cringe Cinema Club and the Super Cool Game Club this week. I have also been resting and doing a lot of Legos (both official Lego sets and Mould King sets).
Cringe Cinema Club is going well, but Super Cool Game Club is lagging behind. I was hoping to have both fully updated and operating by January 1st, but it looks like Cringe Cinema Club might be the only one fully operational. I’ll be adding content to Super Cool Game Club, but it’s mostly the same content that is here, but moving there. I expect it to open in February/March timeline. I mean, it’s “open” but there’s not much public consumable content there yet until I link up everything. But since I have some big plans for it, it seems best not to rush it.
The social media sites for both will be active and start posting content on January 1st, though. Well, all except for X/Twitter unless they reverse their requirement that you must login to even view content on the site now. With the removal of linking and now even viewing outside of a logged-in state, it is a less and less viable platform. And since most of the idiocy hasn’t been reversed (webp posting was fixed), it will not be a viable site any time in the near future, I fear.
It appears that Instagram decided that the SuperCoolGame Club Instagram was an account that trying to do nefarious things. Not sure what things, because that wasn’t part of the review. But even after I proved myself with an email and text confirmation as well as a photograph of who I am (and very similar to the photograph I used to confirm my existing Nostalgia Drop Meta business account), it was deemed that I am not a real person and the account was removed. So I won’t be using Instagram for game content.

Weekly Finds
I pull a lot of the items about gaming and movie news here from a number of sources: The Atari Age forums, Retro Indie News, Time Extension, IGN, Retro Hour podcast, Itch.io, Facebook, Twitter, etc. What shows up here will change weekly depending on what I happen to find in the wild. I try to include the original sources in the links.
Indie Publisher Versus Evil has shut down (Game Developer)
Versus Evil who published The Banner Saga and many other indie hits has closed its doors.
Insomniac data released by hackers after ransom not paid (Game Developer)

Delve Deeper – Roguelike dungeon crawler for the Commodore 64 (Indie Retro News)
Delve Deeper is a 2D dungeon crawler from Grifonchan. It has randomly generated rooms and selectable dungeon depth as well as 20 different enemies. It’s certainly one to look out for!
