Episode Synopsis

Thundarr, Ookla, and Ariel travel across icy mountains. Ookla has a cold, and they are looking for a shortcut. However, an object falls from the sky and melts the ice bridge they are traveling on.

Ookla falls and Thundarr jumps down to help. Suddenly, an ice wolf appears and attacks. Thundarr cuts through the ice and the ice wolf falls to the cliffs below. Ariel creates a magic lasso and lifts them up to the remainder of the bridge. They need to get Ookla to safety since he has a cold and is getting worse. Ariel wonders what fell from the sky.

The ice wolf shakes off the snow from where it fell and approaches the cylindrical tube from the sky. A hatch opens and arms grab the ice wolf. Then a fluid encases it and pulls it inside. Something digs through the snow from the cylinder.

The team find an old outpost and ask for shelter. Ookla sneezes so hard, his snot breaks down their door. The girl inside, Mina, takes them to her people’s village. It is in an old amusement park. As they go towards the park, something burrows through the cliff.

The elder gives them food, but suddenly a hole opens in the floor under him and hands grab him. The strange webbing starts to surround him as well. Ariel’s magic does not have any effect, and the Sunsword cannot pierce the webbing. They must find the creature and set the village people to searching.

It captures a number of them in its webbing. As they explore the Tunnel of Love, the creature captures Mina in its webbing.

They follow the creature and find a trench leading to the fun house. It attacks Ookla from behind a funhouse mirror, but he breaks free. They find the creature in a wax museum of kooky critters and Thundarr runs into battle with it.

It wraps them all in webbing. Ookla throws a mummy wax figure at it and it stops encasing them in webbing. Ariel kicks the cocoon from her arms and starts using magic to remove the cocoons from Ookla and Thundarr. When Ookla sneezes on it, the creature retreats into the ground.

Ariel posits that the creature is a vampire-like thing that stores its future food in cocoons. They realize that all of the people have been taken, and go looking for the creature.

The creature cocoons Ariel and Thundarr and Ookla chase it on the tracks of a roller coaster. Thundarr yells that the creature must not reach the ground. However, it reaches the ground and runs off. It crawls into a hole and takes Ariel with it. It takes her to the spaceship.

Somehow she destroys the cocoon with magic, even though her hands were cocooned as well. She uses magic to distract the creature and escape the ship.

She calls for Thundarr, and the ship begins to take off. Thundarr rides to the top of a cliff and jumps to the door. He climbs in and attacks the creature at the controls. It seems to be weakening since it cannot zap him like usual. He tackles it and the ship crashes to the ground.

The creature runs towards a snow plow. It zaps it and the plow begins to move. Thundarr cuts the rock at his feet and the plow gets stuck. The creature makes a run for it, running past a phone booth. It is weaker now, and Ookla rams it with his horse. It falls into the phone booth and Thundarr closes the door to trap it. Ariel uses magic to lock it tight. They realize that it was getting weaker because it had caught Ookla’s cold.

They free the people from their cocoons and put the creature in the ship. Ariel uses magic to send it hurtling towards the stars. She sneezes, having caught Ookla’s cold.
