Scrambled Channels
Scrambled Channels is an exploration of late-night television that parents really, really did not want their kids to watch. Just like they didn’t want their kids to make out at drive-inns or other unsavory places like midnight showings and arcades. And, since kids will be kids, they would find a way to sneak out or otherwise engage in illicit activities. It is no wonder that parental groups created Satanic Panics, advocated the banning of books and music, and attempted to cloister their children away from any wrongdoing. But, still, they would find ways to watch movies, listen to music, play games, and hang out with the “wrong crowd.”
